Body Works Services

Body works

These are the different types of Body Works we do. We may start with Thai movements to get to know your body's capabilities and to get the body warmed up and relaxed. We actively use hot stones during the session, this helps warm up the areas we are working on and we use them as tools to add pressure to the muscles. We use a variety of oils to help with a variety if things, these can help with the body and be used as aromatherapy.

Deep Tissue

A Deep tissue session will cover the whole body and focus on digging deep into the muscles to get rid of knots you may have from exercise and daily day to day activity  and help your muscles relax and recover.

Thai

The Thai massage is an old practice that uses the whole body to move and manipulate the body using the body's weight. This method is traditionally practiced on a padded mat on the floor.

Lomilomi

Lomilomi is a Polynesian massage, Lomi means "to knead" and is done in long connective strokes to mimic the ocean waves. This is more of a deep relaxation and focuses on the mental and spiritual level.

Athletic

Athletic Body Works is a targeted session. We will focus on what is bothering you and do a deep tissue myofascial release. We will talk about your mobility and how you can foam roll to help you reduce muscle stiffness and pain.

Tension and Trauma release

First time body works with Consultation

$100

The First time session is at a discounted rate and will still be a full service plus a consultation. We would like our clients to feel comfortable with us and get to know us before starting with a session. One thing we dislike of going to a new place is not knowing who will be working on you and jumping straight to the session without knowing your body and discomforts.  This is a 90 minute session plus 30 minute consultation so be prepared for this to last 2 hours.
